Multimedia Specialist

Reporting to the Creative Art Director the Multimedia Specialist will assist the creative marketing and multimedia design team by capturing high quality creative game assets and organizing them for integration into Go-To-Market campaigns, internal presentations and licensing partner asset submissions. The Specialist should be comfortable using capture tools and video editing software and familiar with video games. The position will require review of a variety of video creative briefs meant for the production of digital content, social media and other special projects.

As the ideal candidate, you're an avid gamer familiar with game design and have a couple of years' experience using video capture and  graphic design tools in a fast-paced, hectic videogame, software development, or marketing environment. You'll crave organization, process, and checklists. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be effective at juggling concurrent products, pipelines, and releases, we’d love to hear from you. 

Essential Functions:

  • Identify content asset solutions to satisfy the creative marketing strategy for a game’s Go-To-Market campaign.

  • Have the creative and target audience foresight into building and capturing assets (video, screens) relevant for the digital distribution channels outlined in the creative briefs. 

  • Capture game assets (videos, screens) in order for the design team and vendors to create public-facing MARCOM.

  • Assisting in project management tasks related to task creation, asset tracking, asset organization, and scheduling on one internal platform. 

  • Creating, organizing, and maintaining the projects’ documents and asset filing systems.

  • Monitor the projects’ schedules in order to relay any necessary information about the projects’ status to personnel both on and off the internal team.

  • Provide production assistance, video editing, content research, and log footage.

  • Research a variety of multimedia formats, including but not limited to web content, announcements, and digital content for various social media platforms.

  • Shoot and edit photos and videos for digital and social media content.

  • Assist with requests for footage, imagery and logos.

  • Preparing asset specifications

  • Creative asset quality control

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of professional graphic design and/or production experience; agency experience a plus

  • 4-year degree in visual arts or equivalent experience

  • Ability to play a variety of game types and capture compelling content and images for use in marketing collateral  

  • History of overseeing multimedia and/or graphic design projects strongly preferred

  • Experience with design software and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ability to create concepts, designs, and layouts for large scale graphics

  • Proficiency in social media, web design, and photoshop.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe product lines, such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, and MS Power Point

  • Expert level After Effects and Motion Graphics experience.

  • Ability to conceive and produce professionally edited short videos for a variety of uses for this position

  • Conceptualizing visuals based on campaign needs

  • Demonstrated skills in videography, video editing

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and under tight time deadlines

  • Unreal sequence editing a plus
